Shell Cordovan is easily one of the most dese, supple, and expensive leathers in the world.

It is made using horse butt, where skin density is at its highest, then tanned in a long process which takes up to 6 months in the Tuscan tannery, Conceria Cloe. Final process is hand dying and glazing which gives the surface a deep and shiny color.

This type of leather is produced in few tanneries around the world, specifically in Japan, USA and Italy.
